Graf will play at The DiMenna Center for Classical Music as part of a new series called “5@5-Distinguished Pianists Series” on June 20, 2015. He will play the world premiere of Three Etudes for Piano by Florencia DiConcilio and other works by Eduardo Gilardoni, Hector Tosar, Beethoven and Mussorgsky. More Info.
Review from the recital on August 28, 2014, International Piano Series at the Solis Theatre By Egon Friedler, Revista Sinfonica.
“Enrique Graf dio una lección de formidable garra pianística a pesar de un piano de sonido demasiado fuerte, áspero y desagradable. Ejecutó ni más ni menos que la sonata “Appassionata” de Beethoven y “Cuadros de una exposición” de Mussorgsky con la autoridad de un profundo conocedor de las obras y la sensibilidad y el refinamiento de un intérprete de honda sensibilidad”.
“Enrique Graf gave a lesson on piano playing in spite of a loud, rough and disagreeable piano. He played Beethoven’s “Appassionata” and “Pictures at an Exhibition” by Mussorgsky with authority, profound knowledge of the works, refinement and deep sensibility”.
Yesterday we lost one of the greatest pianists that ever existed. For me she was always a reference. Her art will live forever in some of the great recordings that she left us. A few years ago I had the great honor of playing and recording the Poulenc 2 Piano Concerto with her. Here is a movement of that.
